The "Dun Feng Poetry Society" was founded in 1965 and was renamed the "Dun Feng Literary Society" in the 1970s. At that time, it had more than 50 members. By the beginning of the 21st century, the number of members had increased to nearly 100. Dunfeng Literary Society (Headquarters) is registered as a non-profit academic organization with the US federal and California governments.

Dun Fung Art Association is committed to preserving and promoting traditional Chinese arts. We offer classes and workshops in poetry, calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, and seal engraving. Our goal is to provide our members with the opportunity to learn, practice, and appreciate these art forms. We believe that art is a powerful tool for cultural exchange and mutual understanding.

Social Fees

  1. Twenty dollars per year

  2. Pay by the end of February

  3. Dues can be paid in cash to the current financial committee or by cheque ( written to Dun Fung Art Association ) sent to the association

  4. Late payment of social contributions may result in loss of certain rights

Member Rights

  1. Anyone who pays their social contributions has the right to vote

  2. Anyone who has paid dues has the right to be elected (after two years of membership)

  3. Free admission to calligraphy and painting exhibitions

  4. Free lecture

  5. Works (poems, calligraphy and painting) are listed on the outline page
